Over the last year I’ve discovered so much about RAF Beaulieu through my own walks and research. I’ve also learned from people I have met along the way who have shared their knowledge and memories with me. It’s been an amazing adventure, and one which still has so much to come.
As part of that, I’ve been regularly publishing videos on YouTube, showing others how they can walk around the airfield to discover what’s left and retrace in history’s footsteps.
You can see those videos on my RAF Beaulieu walks’ page, and choose which route to take.
However, one thing that people often need clarity on is where exactly to walk. Whilst my videos do show those paths, it’s not always easy to connect all the dots into one overview of this wartime airfield.
To help you, I’ve created a virtual tour or RAF Beaulieu. It shows you where to walk, where to park, what to see, an overview of some of the historical aspects to look out for.
More details on the virtual tour
In the virtual tour you can watch above (or watch on YouTube), I use Google Earth to show you around the Beaulieu Aerodrome site, with video clips I have made, maps, and photos to help orientate you. I hope you find it helpful.
